As the British summer finally seems to be drawing to a close, FootJoy has announced their 2018 Performance Golf Clothing collection for the Autumn and Winter months.
The features of this new range include the popular DryJoys Tour LTS series with a jacket, rain shirt and trousers, as well the new FJ Hydrolite jacket, with both lines utilising FootJoy’s new colour-way creations for A/W18.
The range remains consistent with modern day golf clothing as it allows for golfers to ‘Layer Up’, with baselayers, polos, layering pieces and outerwear all enjoying consistent styling for optimised looks and performance.
FootJoy UK Marketing Manager Paul O’Hagan explains:
At FootJoy, we are committed to producing innovative and stylish Performance Golf Apparel that Makes Every Day Playable. With improvements and fashionable new colour-ways, the 2018 Autumn/Winter collection promises to equip the golfer more than ever and protect them from the elements this golfing season.
The A/W line is once again highlighted by the LTS range after a successful year and validation from some of the world’s best players. It is joined by the newly constructed FJ HydroLite and the ever-popular DryJoys Select to offer our best-performing rainwear line-up yet.
Our two new colour collections look great and have already been worn by some of the best in the world out on tour. With the variation offered by our Outer, Mid and Base layers, golfers will have a truly comprehensive wardrobe to tackle all elements this golfing season.
FootJoy DryJoys Tour LTS
The LTS Range has been developed by FootJoy using 3 defined terms as its basis:
Lightweight Construction- The LTS Jacket now contains only five panels and six seams for a lightweight, breathable garment with extra mobility to allow you to swing with freedom.
Temperature Regulation- The jacket is produced using a specially developed ThermoLite bonded liner to allow for all-weather play, keeping you cool during warm conditions by wicking moisture away and warm in cool conditions by maintaining body heat.
Stretch Fabrication- The newly-created 3-layer Bonded Fabric is soft, comfortable and quiet, and features 4-way stretch to allow for comfort and flexibility out on the course.
FootJoy HydroLite Jacket
The new HydroLite jacket boasts the lightest material ever produced by FootJoy, along with a new front-panel pocket and HydroLite branding down the left sleeve, and is available in FootJoy’s new colourway-combinations: Marine with Black and White, Black with Charcoal, Navy, and Charcoal with Black and White.
FootJoy Quilted Range
The collection also includes a number of textured items, notably the FJ Thermal Quilted Jacket and Vests, and the FJ Fleece Quilted Jackets. These pieces have been designed to ensure maximum warmth during the coldest months of the year, with the quilted construction retaining heat close to the body.
Finally, joining a host of other specialised garments to combat the cold and wind are two new colour patterns which are used for polo shirts and Chill-Outs in seasonal colour tones.
The Kauai collection incorporates Navy, Island Pink and White, whilst the Orlando Beach-inspired Vero collection features Marine Blue, Black, Tangerine and White finishes.
The two collections are supported by a refreshed Essentials Collection for Autumn/Winter 2018 with an expanded mid-layer range featuring the hugely popular FJ Chill-Out Xtreme Pullovers in new colour combinations.
