The Cobra King Utility iron is a game changer allowing players to chose between multiple loft settings in a single club.
Available as a 3-iron only, the King Utility uses Cobra's MyFly8 Technology to give players a choice of loft and lie settings for the first time in an iron headed club.
Eight settings allow launch to be fine-tuned from 21° to 18° including three draw options. This makes it ideal to perfectly gap the longer end of the bag to suit swing type and course conditions.
Tom Olsavsky, Vice President of R&D for Cobra, explains how this suits even the best players like Rickie Fowler, who alternates the King Utility with the King F6 Baffler fairway, depending on course set-up
This club is perfect for the golfer whose last iron stops at 4 and needs a 3i, or the golfer whose longest iron stops at 3i and needs 2i distance somewhere throughout the round. The King Utility iron allows a player to perfectly gap his long iron game and offers three draw settings to fine tune trajectory. We designed this Utility iron with Rickie Fowler in mind – he currently uses this iron at courses he deems a match for this style of play.
As well as the revolutionary loft options the King Utility features the best of metalwood technology in an iron head for maximum distance and forgiveness.
A hollow body design constructed from 17-4 steel is joined to a 455 stainless steel cup face to increase speed with a higher launch.
This works with a 67 gram tungsten weight positioned low and back in the head to optimise Centre of Gravity and increase MOI.
