The Callaway X Hot fairway wood has a traditional look with modern technology, and is built to be longer from everywhere.

The design team at Callaway saw a trend in fairway woods, the size of the clubhead was getting larger for more distance from the tee. They set out to design the X Hot to be longer off the tee, and the rough, and the fairway, from everywhere.

The result of the research is the X-Hot fairway, a clubhead built in two pieces: a forged stainless steel cupface and a stainless steel casting.

The cupface has been engineered with Callaway's Speed Frame face technology, designed to produce faster ball speeds across the entire face.

The steel casting has an Internal Standing Wave that produces a centre of gravity that is lower and further forward in the clubhead, to promote less spin, more distance and better consistency.

To deliver more distance from every type of lie, Callaway went back in time with a modern take on the classic Warbird sole. This design increases the versatility of the X-Hot fairway.

The standard shaft found in the Callaway X-Hot fairway is the Project X Velocity graphite shaft.

As well as the standard model, Callaway launched a more compact X-Hot Pro model also.
