The Old Course has seen it all in the fashion stakes. From the heavy tweeds of Old Tom Morris, Doug Sander's purple jumper in 1970, to the peacocks of the modern game.
Adidas Golf are aiming to add to that collection at this year's Open Championship at the Home of Golf.

For the 144th playing of the event they are releasing limited editions of their Adipower Boost and Adicross IV models bedecked in Scottish Tartan.
The Adicross IV, one of Adidas's most popular spikeless options, has a full tartan upper that combines with blue detailing on the sole and inner lining.

The Adipower Boost's have tartan styling on the upper and on the famous three stripes, together with a tartan lining resplendent with the Scottish thistle. Featuring the revolutionary Boost foam that provides maximum energy return and comfort, the tartan Boosts also come with Scottish Blue gripmore spikes.

Only 144 pairs of each shoe have been made and they will only be available initially through adidas.com
