Another recent addition to golf in Mauritius is the Tamarina (pictured right) course that is framed by mountains and bordered by the ocean on a piece of land that is made for golf. A challenging course it will test players of every level and should be included on any itinerary. These world class venues are complemented by courses at the Paradis Golf Club, Domaine Del Bel Ombre and Le Tousserok and it is therefore no surprise to discover that Mauritius won the award for Best Long Haul Golfing Venue in 2007.
