Golf Course Says
York Golf Club has the unique honour of bring York's oldest golf club, formed in 1890. In the early days York Golf Course was very open, now the fairways on the 6301 yards course are tree lined but the flat course retains its natural heathland and heather heritage and provides plenty of variety and challenge for the high and low handicapper alike.
The Club hosts many County and York Union events and stages one of Yorkshire's premier 36 hole amateur competitions, The York Rose Bowl.

Very good course with well-kept fairways and excellent greens. A couple of the short holes are a bit Micky Mouse.
