The Wynyard Club golf course is situated within the exclusive Wynyard Estate ideally encircled by the A1 & A19, making the club readily accessible from all parts of the region.

Where2Golf.comThe Wellington Course, as Wynyard's 18-holes are known, is a strong layout with a very impressive and undulating front nine, that gets flatter and a tad less interesting on the back nine. Even the ever-present and rather grand houses of the front nine, taper away to more modest residences alongside the back-nine fairways. There is plenty of space for the big timber to be used on most holes, and with water rarely in play, this is a course that will suit golfers of all levels. Wynyard will doubtless become tougher, once the significant tree planting has a chance to mature. The fine array of straight and gently doglegging holes, and short and long par-3s, are usually presented in excellent condition, although the going can get heavy in wetter conditions.
