Windlesham is set amidst the beautiful Surrey countryside. We must have played there on one of the coldest days of the year, but that's what you get for playing all year round. Windlesham has loads of demanding par 4 holes over 400 yards. It's an easy walking course but very long especially when it's windy. The 1st hole opens up with you needing a good drive to give you a chance to get over the pond protecting the green. Those players who fall short on their drive must lay up as the pond is hidden from view and is not seen until you climb the small incline. The course can get very wet and muddy in places in the winter months. Off course facilities are fantastic as it has everything a golfer needs. The driving range has facilities for you to practice either under cover when raining or in the open playing off mats in the winter and off the grass in the summer months. The range also offers you the facility to practice those needed chipping and bunker shots. To finish off, there is a decent putting green in front of the club house where you can get an insight of the back nine holes.
