Situated at one end of Weston sea front between the beach and a main road, Weston-super-Mare Golf Coures affords magnificent views towards the Mendips and Exmoor. The course offers the golfer a blend of interesting par fours and inviting par threes.

Weston-super-Mare is a pleasant links course even though the start is a tad chaotic for the first time visitor - the 1st, 18th, 10th, 11th and 9th green all seem to compete for a share of the terrain that begins to stretch out in front of you. Don't expect too much in the way of sand dunes here, the course is reasonably flat and open, with water ditches, thick rough and some wonderfully renovated bunkers providing the key defences. A large bush-clad bank runs along the sea-ward side of the Weston-super-Mare course, cutting off ocean views from all but two holes - the 5th and 6th. These two par-4's are accessed via a walk across a small caravan park (the seaside feel is never far away !) and they provide the best views across the Bristol Channel to Wales on the other side. Uphill Church, perched on a half-moon cliff rising from the River Axe, provides another interesting feature and a useful sighter for one or two drives.
