Relaxed golf by the sea. That's the promise of Walmer & Kingsdown Golf Club and it rarely disappoints. The tops of the famous White Cliffs are home to the club which is proudly perched above the Channel between Dover and Deal. James Braid, he of the Great Triumvarate and a handful of Open championships, designed the course and it opened in 1909 with the aim of celebrating the game of golf and attracting new players to the Royal and Ancient game. That aim remains true today with men, ladies, juniors and complete beginners of all ages still welcome to come and try this fine course and enjoy the hospitable facilities afterwards. Walmer and Kingsdown golf course welcomes visitors during the week.
