Opened in 1990 Versilia Golf Resort has established itself as one of Tuscany's most popular and respected golging desitnations. The course was extensively improved in 2001 and the new 13th hole - designed by Jose Maria Olazabal's Integral Golf Design group - has quickly become the signature hole of the course. Although not far from the coast Versilia golf course is framed by the Apuane Alps and it will often be the moutain tops that provide you with a line off the tee. Visitors particulary enjoy spotting the ducks and swans that make their home in the numerous water features that must be negotiated.
