The creation of the Turnberry Kintyre course meant the end of the road for Turnberry's old second course, the Arran. The developers, however, have been able to salvage some of the original holes from the old Arran course to create the Turnberry Arran Academy course which will play a major role in the development of the Colin Montgomerie Links Academy. A unique nine hole links course that mixes par 4's and par 3's the Turnberry Arran course is a fantastic way to test yourself against a traditional links golf course. The Arran course is the ideal introduction to the challenges and delights that lie in store on the Turnberry Ailsa and Turnberry Kintyre courses.
