Golf Course Says
Perhaps lacking the dramatic tournament history of the Brabazon at the Belfry the Belfry PGA National golf course remains a wonderful championship course that golfers from across the world enjoy playing time and time again. The style is different to the Brabazon with the PGA National at the Belfry revelling in a style that is not far removed from an inland links layout. Bunkers on the PGA National are deep, fairways hard and running and greens open and notoriously tricy to read. For all the headline stealing bravado of the Brabazon course next door the PGA National at the Belfry has quietly created a wonderful reputation of its own, hosting two European Tour events and becoming the only course in England to have the PGA branding. For golfers who love the creativity and imagination required to play a thinking players golf course the Belfry PGA is a real delight.

Todays GolferJust as impressive as the Brabazon. An outstanding contrast to its superstar neighbour. Big, bold and brassy. Huge penal bunkers protect fairways and greens. Avoid these and score well.

Great value for £30 each on a 2fore1 voucher. Superb course, very hard with huge greenside bunkers and water on about 7 holes. A fairly open course so the wind does get up.The course was in great nick, fast greens and fairways, although a lot of un-replaced divots lying about. A nice warm welcome there, definitely go back to play this.

De Vere Belfry is definitely Belfry's hidden gem. Better I thought in value for money than the more famous Brabazon (Ryder Cup) course. Greens were superb and the rest of the course was in great nick. De Vere Belfry has some truly outstanding holes.
