Tecina Golf

Tecina Golf Course is located on the slopes of Tecina only two kilometres outside Playa Santiago and has spectacular wiews of the valley, the Atlantic Ocean and the majestic Mount Teide in the distance. At the higher levels of the course are native plants typical of the more arid areas of the island and as you descend, you will come across ever more luxuriant vegetation until you reach the tropical species and fruit trees in the vicinity of the Hotel Jardin Tecina. Feature holes to watch out for include the 169-metre fourth hole which challenges the golfer to drive over the Tapahuga ravine making this a tough par three while the tenth tee is all of forty-five metres above the level of the green, offering players an unforgettable panorama of the Lomada de Tecina with the Atlantic as a backdrop. The country cottage style Club House provides a cosy atmosphere for visitors is situated near the driving range, putting and chipping greens and includes changing rooms, coffee bar, pro shop, club storage room and a terrace from which to enjoy the magnificent scenery.
