Golf Course Says
Course designer David Williams has called the location of Surrey National Golf Club the finest natural landscape he has worked on and it is easy to see why. The course opened in 1999 and was soon earning plaudits from across the country and beyond. The course has been laid in two valleys and the setting, scenery and golf are all spectacular. The course play remarkably flat and challenging par fours abound although the shot over water on the par three 3rd has ruined many a card. The 18th hole offers no respite with two cracking shots needed if you are to tame this long par four. From the moment you set foot on Surrey National you will realise why such a fuss has been made in such a short space of time about this truly wonderful golf course.

GreenFreeSurrey National Golf Course is an undulating, rather than hilly parkland course set in an elevated position with great views to the east of the North Sea and to the west of the Simonside Hills. Feature hole is the par 4 15th with a difficult approach to a small, well guarded green.
