Summerhill is a privately owned golf course is situated 1 mile down stream of Hay-on-Wye over the border into England and the county of Herefordshire. The Golf Course was built in 1993 and set in 73 acres of open rolling farmland. The challenging nine-hole 5858 yards par 70 course was designed to test and stretch the skills of the experienced golfers, yet not intimidate newcomers to the game. Summerhill was designed by Mr Bob Sandow, known for having designed over 130 courses worldwide. The course was built to an exceptional standard and also to U.S.G.A. specifications with the same construction of tees and greens as used on the American professional circuit.

Set in dramatic rolling countryside, thousands of mature trees and water are features of the course.
