A great course for those who don't have time to play a full length 18 holes but still want some challenging golf and the chance to use a driver. There is quite a lot of water but this adds to the pleasant scenery which you can enjoy if your golf isn't going so well! If you're lucky you may spot one of the rare water voles. Overall it is a good experience playing the Executive course at Stonelees, it enables the player to use a full range of clubs without taking up the whole day.
