St Michaels Golf Club lies on the outskirts of Leuchars just minutes from the Home of Golf and the game's St Andrews headquarters. The 18 hole course has a par of 70 and is short by the standards of both the area and modern golf. The lack of distance, however, does not obscure the size of the challenge: St Michaels has never had a scratch player and the course record is only 67. Visitors and members alike will point to the par 3 15th hole at St Michaels Golf Course as being one of the prettiest and demanding short holes in Fife.
