Not as remote as many think. Gorgeous links. Terrific back nine. Not easy but its not a slog, especially the closing stretch running along the shore which is truly fabulous.

A classic example of why you should never judge a course by its scorecard. Standard scratch is four over par - expect to be tested to the limit. A great links experience.
Southerness Golf Course is a great links course that is worth the trip. Some great holes including the 12th which into the wind might be the hardest par 4 I've ever played. Southerness Golf Club was in great condition with greens most courses would die for. A gem. Food and drink in the clubhouse were equal to the course.
