Golf Course Says
Southern Valley Golf Club is a proprietary owned club, situated in Shorne just south of Gravesend in Kent and opened in June 1999. The course has been built to the highest standards and designed in the style of a traditional links course. Southern Valley Golf Course has a commitment to having no temporary tees or greens and enjoys a chalk subsoil giving excellent year round drainage. We have developed a thriving and active membership, but also welcomes golf societies and pay and play golfers.

I played this course a couple of times last summer and it is very good value. The course can be quite challenging especially if it is windy or raining at is sits by the thames estuary so can be very exposed. The course layout can also be slightly confusing, for example the 3rd hole where you have to walk backwards to the hole and the 4th where you share a fairway with another hole. Overall though a very good course.
