Golf Course Says
A stunning hotel, an 18 hole championship golf course and over 260 acres of stunning countryside all within easy reach of the bustling, reborn Manchester. Look no further than Barcelo Shrigley Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club for a quality golfing break in the lap of luxury. Shrigley Hall golf course was designed by Donald Steel and the course has all the challenging trademarks that have made him one of the foremost course designers. At just under 6300 yards it offers length without making you feel that only JB Holmes or Alvaro Quiros to achieve a respectable score. With the stunning countryside that Shrigley Hall Golf and Country Club has to offer the visiting golfer can also expect to be treated to some delightful scenery - both on the course and in the welcoming and relaxed Fairways Clubhouse.
Fine parkland designed by Donald Steel. Try hard not to be distracted by the views from the elevated par 4 13th tee.
Shrigley Hall Golf Course has 2 very different 9's. The Ist nine is new, open and need to mature but the back nine is an old established course with lots of variety and challenge. Worth a visit and over night as the hotel is very good.
Shrigley Hall Hotel Golf & Country Club is a fantastic course, well designed, great layout with some utterly fantastic holes, particularly 7,8,9,12,14,17 and 18. To get a decent score you really need to think your way round, course management is paramount and accuracy is key. Have a hearty breakfast, its hilly but they do buggies, and it is very tough. The best course I've played. Go play, it's well worth it
