One of the tireless James Braid's creations Shotts Golf Club was founded in 1936 and today enjoys a wonderful location that is easily accessible from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Boasting one of the best holes in Scottish golf - the 4th or "Devil's Elbow" -Shotts Golf Club is a fine course that can be enjoyed by all players.

GreenFreeShotts Golf Club was founded in 1895 and has subsequently relocated twice since its inception. The present layout was drawn up in 1936 by the noted golf course architect James Braid and finally completed in 1949.
