Visitors will be tempted to start thinking of birdies on the first but an accurate drive is needed to avoid the dry ditch that crosses the fairway. With water guarding a sloping green on the par 3 fifth hole accuracy is everything. The front nine is considered the more gentle and anyone going for a good score will want to get off too a good start before safety and good course management take over on the back nine.
