Santa Maria's layout has recently been transformed to create one of the best and most popular courses on the Costa del Sol. Running through two valleys with great views of the Mediterranean Sea, the course makes the most of its undulating terrain to provide a good test of golf, with well-placed bunkers designed to make you really think about your shots. We particularly like the 14th, which sets off from an elevated tee past a lake towards a green flanked by a waterfall.
