Royal Winchester Golf Course is a testing and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities, made more difficult when the wind blows - with a par of 71 (SSS 70 on white tees) it is 6216 yards long! Occupying one of the highest points in the area there are some spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. Built on chalk downs Royal Winchester Golf Club drains exceptionally well and is very rarely closed due to heavy rainfall.
