Royal Tarlair Golf Club shares much of the ruggedness of the Aberdeenshire coastline that it looks down on. A clifftop parkland course it offers a challenge for the low handicap golfer and an enjoyable round for the golfer who is not as skilled. Royal Tarlair's 13th hole - Clivet - is considered a real test of any golfer's nerve and is the course's signature hole.
