Golf Course Says
Royal Norwich Golf Club was founded in 1893 and today remains a fine test of parkland golf enjoyed by both visitors and members alike. The club received its royal title in the year it was founded, the honour bestowed by the Duke of York. Arthur Havers, Open champion at Royal Troon in 1923, was a product of Royal Norwich golf course and the club remain proud of the contribution they have made to the development and rich history of English golf. Thanks to wonderful natural drainage the course can remain in play througout the year, offering golfer of all abilities a rich, diverse and enjouable challenge.
