Golf Course Says
Royal Jersey golf club was given its royal title in 1879, a year after its opening. The Royal Jersey course islaid out over Grouville Common. The land covers around 70 acres of rolling, sandy heath land and is flanked by the magnificent coastline. Queen Victoria admired the shoreline so much that she ordered it to be called the Royal Bay of Grouville.
