Rowallan Castle Golf Club lies on the Rowallan Castle Estate, an estate that was built centuries ago but could have been laid out with the idea of a world class golf course in mind. That was certainly the view of eight time European Order of Merit winner and Ryder Cup hero Colin Montgomerie who chose this stunning patch of land to build his first course in Scotland on a site picked both for its natural potential and its proximity to the Ayrshire links courses so close to his heart.

A course like few others Rowallan Castle can boast two castles, trout burns and trees that have borne witness to a 1000 years of Scottish history. Rowallan Castle golf course has been designed by the man known the world over as Monty to be a classic parkland course that includes the challenges of pot bunkers and other features often associated with links golf. Drawing on all his experience and expertise Colin Montgomerie has created Rowallan Castle to allow every golfer of every ability to share in the unique privilege of playing a world class course crafted with care and love.
