Ranfurly Castle Golf Club in the West of Scotland is recognised as one of the finest courses and acknowledged as the best moorland course in the area. Laid out over a 100 years ago, the course is set in the hills above the Bridge of Weir and drans very well. The views from the course look across the Renfrewshire countryside to Ben Lomond and the Scottish mountains.
Ranfurly Castle Golf Course leads you swiftly uphill to the plateau where the course levels out. There, golfers will enjoy the undulating fairways, gorse, heather, and bracken as you wind your way around the course. The 9th and 15th provide challenging tee shots, but the welcoming sight of the clubhouse greets you from the 18th tee, prompting thoughts of a bite to eat and a drink.
