The Strand Course at Portstewart has to have the most exciting and visually dramaitic opening nine holes of any course I have played. You are right by the beach and play through towering dunes to greens that run true and smooth. The back nine is not too shabby either so it makes for a fantastic 18 holes, but it is the front nine at Portstewart Strand that sticks in my memory.
