Golf Course Says
Portsmouth Golf Club was established in 1926 and moved to the municipal course on Portsdown Hill early in the 1960's. The course itself is parkland and has a number of testing holes as well as spectacular views over Portsmouth and Langstone Harbour. Portsmouth Golf Club has an active and enthusiastic membership and visitors can always be assured of a warm welcome. The hill top setting may afford views that will warm the heart but it also invites the wind to affect your game and this, combined with the water that features on three holes, means Portsmouth Golf Club is rarely as simple as a stroll in the park. Portsmouth Golf course is managed by Glendale Golf and is considered to be one of the very best pay as you play courses in the region.
