The famous Port Bannatyne Golf Club has won admirers - and some perplexed looks - over the years for the singular quirk of having only 13 holes. Golfer play holes 1 to 12, then return to play 1 to 5 again, before finishing on the 18th. The course opened in 1912 and has been enthralling visitors with both the quality of the golf on offer and the stunning views that can be enjoyed ever since.
