Players Golf Club

The Players Club is situated just one mile from Junction 18 of the M4 (Bristol/Bath) on the outskirts of Bristol bordering Wiltshire/Gloucester. Boasting two 18 hole courses, a stunning par-3 Water Garden Course and first class practice facilities, the Players Club has become home to over 150 golf professionals. Ranked 113 in the Golf World 'Top Courses in the UK' in 2006, all 3 courses have been designed and built to the highest specifications that will push even the finest golfers in the world to their limits. The Championship Course which was the original design comprises of 15 Codrington holes, 1 from the Stranahan and two from the original layout. The Championship Course is played during the Euro-Pro event each year and the Stiff Salver, a monster medal open to members and guests. The par-5 8th hole measuring 727 yards was the 13th longest hold in the world and the 15th, using the very back tee, is 656 yards.
