Golf Course Says
Measuring just over 6000 yards Parklands Golf Club is not the longest course in the area but 10 of the holes include water hazards and 11 of the holes have out of bounds featuring at some point. This helps build a real test for golfers of all abilities.
Golfalot Review of Parklands Golf Club
We found Parklands Golf Club to be a well maintained and challenging course that encourages the golfer to think their way round the course. With water and out of bounds featuring so heavily wayward drives are likely to be penalised so if you are not on the top of your game off the tee losing some distance for accuracy is the sensible play. A run of short par fours offers a gentle introduction to the course before the front nine finishes with two par fives and a par three. The back nine begins with the long par four 10th and the par five 11th and if you have built momentum over the opening holes the turn offers up the chance of making a score. Again, however, the many hazards mean that without accuracy you will struggle to have a respectable day. We felt Parklands offered an enjoyable and testing round of golf that would suit most golfers. There are better courses in the area but Parklands provided a solid and respectable day of golf.
