Orpington Golf Centre Ruxley Park

With easy access from both the M20 and M25 Orpington Golf Centre is one of the largest golf facilities in England with two excellent 18 hole course and two shorter nine hole courses. All four courses opened in the 1970's and have gone on to build loyal fans amongst the golfers of the region. Orpington’s Ruxley Park golf course offers excellent value for money on a course that, although quite short at a touch over 5200 yards, offers challenges to most handicappers and is kept in excellent. The course often appeals to beginners looking for their first taste of 18 hole golf thanks to its large and generous greens. Those who like to blast from the tee will be kept waiting by the front nine where the parkland nature of the course is at its tightest but by the back nine – after you’ve negotiated the memorable 10th – you can open the shoulders and let rip as the fairways open out. Ruxley Park is accompanied by one of Orpington Golf Centre’s two shorter courses – in this case an 8 hole teaching course.
