Designed by the President of the American society of golf course architects Clyde B. Johnston, Norwood Park Golf Course is a splendid parkland layout that utilises the natural features of the land to great effect. Built to USGA standards to ensure play all year round and stretching to over 6800 yards from the championship tees Norwood Park provides a true test of golf for even the best players. With numerous water hazards and strategically placed bunkers to negotiate (although none on the four holes that wind through the ancient deer park to maintain the integrity of the natural land) accuracy is at a premium and all aspects of a golfer’s game are sure to be tested sometime in the round.
