Like its sister course, Hawkshill, Newmachar Golf Club Swailend Course was designed by Dave Thomas. Opened in 1997 the Swailend is an 18 hole, 6388 yard par 72. The course is less challenging than Hawkshill but still offers some well planned sand traps and tricky greens. Newmachar Golf Club Swailend Course will be a welcome round for any golfer.

GreenFreeThe Newmachar Golf Club, north of Aberdeen boasts two excellent courses, the Hawkshill and the Swailend. In addition, there is an extensive driving range and practice facilities and a well appointed clubhouse in which to relax after a round. The Hawkshill course has been host to a number of top events, including the Scottish Seniors Open.
