A mature parkland course Newbattle Golf Club is a worthy challenge for all golfers. The par 69, 6025 yard course has tree lined fairways and well guarded greens. The course is well known in the area for its beautifully maintained fairways and greens. Newbattle Golf Club is well worth a visit on a golfing trip to Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Newbattle Golf Course is a decent course. The back nine inspires better holes that the front, and there are a few holes that are squeezed into the location. My favourite hole is the 18th at Newbattle Golf Course, it offers a drive that can be hit anywhere and still leave a birdie chance!

Newbattle Golf Club is a decent parkland course on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Not the longest of courses but a good variety of holes and the greens are always in good condition. The 17th is probably the signature hole. From a high tee you hit over some forest and a river to the fairway below before hitting back up a hill to an elevated green. Par is a good score on this hole. Newbattle Golf Club is certainly an enjoyable course with a friendly clubhouse.
