Rated 43rd in Europe by Golf World magazine (the only course in Turkey to feature in the top 100), the championship course at National Golf Club has hosted the PGA European Seniors Open twice and attracts golfers from all over the world. It's a beautiful course which runs through a forest of eucalyptus and pine trees against the impressive backdrop of the snow-capped Taurus Mountains. The many natural water hazards will test players of all abilities. It's reminiscent of courses in the Carolinas and is one of our favourites in the area. Not to be missed.

Might as well as call it the Nasty as opposed to the National - unless you are a straight hitting low single handicapper then avoid at all costs. It is simply too tight too narrow and too penal. If you are in the trees its reload time as there is so much scrub and rubbish in there your lucky if you find your ball and even if you do, you wont have a shot. The 18th is a good hole but other than that avoid!
