Media Reviews
GreenFreeThe Montrose Medal Course is undoubtedly one of the oldest and most historic in Scotland, with golf having been played there for more than 400 years. The first record of the game being played on the links was as early as 1562, making it the fifth oldest in the world.
Where2Golf.comGolf on the Montrose links dates back to 1592 and there is still a rugged and challenging feel to much of this excellent links course. Many very good holes and, with the sea right next to the course, the North Sea wind is often on hand to make things even more challenging.
Todays GolferA links with plenty of pedigree and history. The world's fifth oldest club and great fun.
