An Open qualifying venue when the old Championship is hosted at Carnoustie Monifeith Golf Links Medal Course is a wonderful course in the heart of the East of Scotland links country. Narrow fairways to fast greens, semi rough and harsher areas of deep rough and punishing bunkers mean it is a real test for all golfers. But like all Links courses it changes with the weather and can quickly turn from benign to punishing. Monifieth Golf Links Medal Course is a wonderful golfing experience and it is little surprise that so many visitors return. The Monifieth Golf Links Ashludie Course is also availbale for visitors.

Monifieth is a great golf course with some memorable holes. Start off with 6 holes along the rail road so no hitting it right! You then turn back with the long 7th which is a great driving hole. The 9th is a long par 5 that needs three good hits. An enjoyable round off golf. Course is always in superb condition with greens to match. You need every club in your bag at Monifieth Golf Club when the wind gets up. A good test.
