The Mere Golf & Country Club is set in 150 acres of beautiful Cheshire parkland and is consistently amongst the most well prepared course in the North West. A James Braid layout that was built in 1934, the 6,817 yard par 71 layout encompasses mature trees, rhododendron bushes and a lake to add to the classic challenge. With ravines, thick vegetation and water to overcome, it is obvious that accuracy and course management will be well rewarded and Mere Golf Club leaves perhaps it’s biggest test to the closing stretch of four holes that will test even the best players if they are to record par or better.
