The Rosebery course at the Mentmore Golf & Country Club is a championship standard layout that measures 6,855 yards from the championship tees with fine views over the Vale of Aylesbury in one direction and the Chiltern hills on the other. The front nine runs through mature woodland that boasts many magnificent chestnuts and passes past the Stud Farm where three 19th century winners of the Derby were bred. Coming home the players face two long par 4’s at the 10th and 12th before reaching the 18th that entices the players to go for their drives, however caution may be prudent as the Rosebery presents a challenging test for players of all abilities.
