Golf Course Says
Golf in the perfect Hampshire countryside is always on offer at the Marriott Meon Valley Country Club Meon Course. Fairway are narrow and, as you'd expect from a course slicing through an ancient woodland, often tree lined. The water hazards are all natural but they are brilliantly enhanced by so many strategically place bunkers. The Meon Course at the Marriott Meon Valley Country Club has a little bit of everything wrapped up in 18 holes that you will want to play again and again.

Resting in over 225 acres of glorious parkland, Marriott Meon Valley Hotel Golf Club has been established for some time as a leading golf venue. It has two courses, and is well loved for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Marriott Meon Valley is a pleasantly wooded course deep in Hampshire, with the full suite of Marriott facilities on site. Incorporated in the quite recent design are tight-ish fairways (although there is often more width than you suspect from the tee-box) and some equally tight approaches to the greens, where mature trees and skilful bunkering provide some solid defences. Water is in play on only a few holes, but dangerously so when it does appear - the downhill par-3 12th to a water-surrounded green is the most troubling. The back-9 at Meon Valleyis a bit more open than the front, and reveals some nice farmland views.
Meon Valley is a splendid parkland track featuring streams and ancient oaks. Star hole is the par 3 12th which has a green sitting over water.
