Golf Course Says
Longniddry Golf Course combines quality links features with a number of parkland features. In the famous golfing county of East Lothian, Longniddry is situated on the south side of the Firth of Forth. With no par fives off the men's tee the course is shorter than some but many of the par 4's provide a real test. The player who thinks around the golf course will be rewarded. The fairways and greens are generous but Longniddry Golf Club has severe penalties lying in wait for the wayward striker.

Very enjoyable visit to this golf course. Played in November and greens looked slow but were anything but and they were rolling really nicely. Fairways were in great condition and the course played without any winter restrictions. A nice layout which isn't the longest test in golf but you can't just stand and thrash away. Well placed bunkers mean you have to position a lot of your tee shots. Before and after our round the hospitality in the clubhouse was excellent and the plate of home made soup was braw. Definitely worth a visit.

Longniddry golf course is a very good test of golf. No give away par-5s for easy birdies and some very good par-3s. It is a classic out and back course and the trees make it unusual for a supposed links course. The tier on 5 is something else and if the wind is against you the last 2 holes are brutal. Even if they are downwind the back nine is not that easy if the ground is dry and firm. Longniddry golf course is a bit more sheltered than most links courses and definitely worth a visit.

Longniddry Golf Course is a nice links course. Set amoungst a list of great courses, Longniddry Golf Course has many holes that would take a place on any. The green on the 5th hole is the biggest teared green I have ever seen, its worth the visit just to see that green!

Longniddry Golf Club is yet another quality links course on the east coast. It might be on the coast but it has the feel of a parkland course in places. The 2-tier green at the 5th must have at least 15 feet between each level. A delight to play and once you're back at the clubhouse you are made to feel like you're a member.
