Golf Course Says
Loch Lomond golf course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morris and near perfection is the best way to describe it. Loch Lomond Golf Club has been voted one the top 20 courses in the world and the best course in Scotland and it is easy to see why the top players flock to the Scottish Open year after year. The clubhouse, as Georgian manor, has quickly become one of the iconic sights in world golf. Players can choose to play off a number of tees with the front tees reducing the length to a less daunting 5460 yards. Golfer's will never forget their experience at Loch Lomond Golf Club.
Golfalot Review of Loch Lomond Golf Club
If you died, went to heaven and expected to find a golf course there, then it would not be far off what is available at Loch Lomond. For starters the scenery is stunning with Ben Lomond overlooking Loch Lomond whose shores lap around half the holes on the course. It's easy to build in amazing locations, but to put a course of this standard there, particularly given the wet climate is nothing short of amazing.
The layout is fantastic and you are hard pushed to pick a hole that could be better. There are lots of great stretches, such as along the loch from 5 to 8, the 9th in the centre of the course followed by the downhill 10th, 13 to 15 that includes the great risk reward short par-4 14th and then the final sweep around the inlet of 17 and 18. On top of all this the practice facilities are first class and it was great to hit balls on the same range you see the pro's hitting at the Scottish Open. The service is nothing short of exceptional from the moment you arrive, with nothing too much bother for the friendly staff - five star American service in Scotland by Scots! It's not cheap and the course is not open to the public, so you will need to play with a member but if you get the chance you will experience what will hopefully wait for you in the afterlife. 5 stars does not do it justice.

Loch Lomond Golf Club is amazing. One of the best course i've played anywhere in the world. The staff at Loch Lomond Golf Club treat you like a king all day. Very hard to get a game at but if you get the chance it's well worth the day off work! Superb.
