Golf Course Says
Llanwern Golf Club's 18 hole par-70 parkland course is predominantly flat and about 6,200 yards long. In addition there is a short 9-hole practice area for new golfers although this is available for everyone. The course is not physically difficult with most fairways reasonably level except for the 9th (uphill) and the 10th (downhill). Most fairways slope from north to south although some of the greens do not follow the same trend. There are very few hazards at Llanwern Golf Club and all are in the form of small ditches, the main areas of difficulty being created by trees and the narrowness of the fairways at some critical points.
