Llantrisant & Pontyclun Golf Club is situated in Talbot Green approximately 2.5 miles north of Junction 34 of the M4. The 18-hole course is parkland bordered to the north by the Ely river which adds a picturesque backdrop to 3 of the greens. Wild fowl are attracted by the ponds on the lower part of the course and, coupled with the views of forest and mountain, the visitor is presented with one of the most delightful scenarios in Welsh golf. Although under 6000 yards, the Llantrisant & Pontyclun Golf Course presents a challenge to the most ardent golfer in that the greens are small and the fairways narrow.
