Lewes Golf Course is an excellent unassuming course tucked away near the south coast. Although not strictly on the coast it plays very much like a links course due to being situated on top of the downs overlooking the town. Lewes Golf Course plays shorter than its yardage, which is not to say easy. The holes are very varied and the greens have some subtle and not so subtle slopes on them. When the wind blows, this is a proper test.
